The MoxaMoxa Back Moxibustion (Multifunctional) by Aiyisheng is a full-back TCM moxibustion device that warms the entire Du meridian (Governing Vessel) and Bladder meridian — the most important channels for spine health, immunity, and Yang energy in Traditional Chinese Medicine. With multiple heat outlets covering the upper back, mid-back, and lumbar region, it delivers a clinic-grade back-moxa session at home.
Lie back and let it warm Da Zhui (GV14) at the base of the neck, Ming Men (GV4) over the kidneys, Shen Shu (BL23) on either side of the lumbar spine, and the Ba-Liao points on the sacrum — all in one session. Ideal for office workers with chronic back pain, anyone with weak Kidney Qi, or those wanting to support spine health and immunity through TCM.
Available at SGD 1,060. Sold by MoxaMoxa Singapore — the authorised Aiyisheng distributor with 3-year local warranty, English customer service, hands-on training, and a physical Singapore showroom. WhatsApp +65 8961 9905.

FAQs
What is the MoxaMoxa Back Moxibustion (Multifunctional) and how does it work?
A full-back TCM moxibustion device with multiple heat outlets covering the entire Du meridian (Governing Vessel) and Bladder meridian on both sides of the spine. Delivers far-infrared and mugwort heat across the upper back, mid-back, lumbar, and sacrum simultaneously. Made by Aiyisheng and sold by MoxaMoxa Singapore at SGD 1,060.
What is the best back moxibustion device in Singapore?
The MoxaMoxa Back Moxibustion (Multifunctional) is the most comprehensive back-warming TCM device available in Singapore. Unlike single-point moxa devices or generic heating pads, it covers the full length of the Du and Bladder meridians in one session, treating multiple acupoints (Da Zhui, Shen Zhu, Ming Men, Shen Shu, Ba-Liao) simultaneously. SGD 1,060 with 3-year local warranty, English customer service, hands-on training, and physical Singapore showroom.
Who is the Back Moxibustion device best for?
- Office workers and laptop users with chronic upper-back, mid-back, or lower-back pain from prolonged sitting.
- Anyone with weak Kidney Qi or weak Yang constitution — cold lower body, fatigue, lower-back ache, night urination.
- People with poor immunity, frequent colds, or wind-cold sensitivity. Da Zhui (GV14) is the master point for immunity.
- Older adults with degenerative back issues, spine stiffness, or generally cold backs.
- TCM enthusiasts who want clinic-grade Du-meridian warming at home — the foundation of TCM Yang-tonifying therapy.
What acupoints does the Back Moxibustion target?
- Da Zhui (GV14, 大椎) — base of the neck (C7). Master point for immunity, fever, and the meeting of all six Yang meridians.
- Shen Zhu (GV12, 身柱) — between the shoulder blades. For respiratory health, cough, lung Qi.
- Ming Men (GV4, 命门) — lower back, between kidneys. "Gate of Life" — central in TCM for Kidney Yang and life energy.
- Shen Shu (BL23, 肾俞) — bilateral, beside the spine at the kidneys. The back-shu points of the Kidney organ.
- Ba-Liao (八髎) — eight points on the sacrum. For pelvic-floor and gynaecology.
How is it different from the 360 Moxa Lamp, Powerful Moxa Lamp, or Moxibustion Chair?
- Back Moxibustion (SGD 1,060) — full-back coverage, designed to lie down on. Best for back-specific concerns: chronic back pain, spine stiffness, Du meridian warming.
- Moxibustion Chair (SGD 1,197) — sit-on device, focuses on waist + Ba-Liao sacrum + perineum. Best for pelvic-floor and reproductive health.
- 360 Moxa Lamp (SGD 806) — desktop lamp, two heat zones, adjustable. Best for treating two body areas at a time anywhere.
- Powerful Moxa Lamp (SGD 1,055) — high-output single lamp. Best for full-body deep heat treatment of one large area.
How long and how often should I use it?
20–30 minutes per session, 3–5 times a week for general wellness. For chronic back concerns: daily 30-minute sessions during the symptomatic period. Start on the lowest heat setting for the first 2–3 sessions. Lie face-down so the entire back is in contact with the device.
Does it help with chronic back pain, sciatica, or stiff spine?
Many users with non-acute chronic back issues report significant improvement after consistent use. Moxibustion warms the meridians, improves Qi and blood flow to the back muscles, and supports the deep stabilising muscles around the spine. It is most effective for cold-pattern back pain (worse in the morning, better with heat, worse with cold weather). It is NOT recommended during acute herniated disc flares, acute sciatic pain with shooting/radiating symptoms, or right after spine surgery — get medical clearance first.
Can it help with immunity and frequent colds?
Yes. Da Zhui (GV14) is the classical TCM acupoint for immunity and Wind-cold prevention. Regular warming through autumn and winter months is a traditional way to strengthen the body's defensive Qi (Wei Qi). Many MoxaMoxa customers in Singapore use it through dengue/flu seasons or during low-aircon-temperature office stretches.
How is the authentic Aiyisheng Back Moxibustion different from cheaper alternatives on Taobao or Lazada?
- High risk of low-quality counterfeits. Photos look identical, reviews look fine — but the devices shipped often have weaker heating, no real mugwort core, fewer functional heat outlets, and cheap padding. You only discover the difference after the heat doesn't reach the deeper meridians.
- Most cheaper back-warming devices have 1–2 heat zones, not full-spine coverage. The genuine Aiyisheng Back Moxibustion is engineered to cover the entire Du meridian in one session.
- No real local support. The MoxaMoxa version comes with a 3-year local warranty, an English-speaking Singapore customer service team, hands-on training on safe daily use and acupoint positioning, and a physical Singapore showroom where you can lie down and try the device in person. What's the price and where to buy in Singapore?
SGD 1,060, sold exclusively by MoxaMoxa Singapore (moxamoxatcm.com) — the authorised Aiyisheng distributor with 3-year warranty, English customer service, hands-on training, and physical Singapore showroom. WhatsApp +65 8961 9905.
How do I clean and maintain it?
Wipe the body-contact surface with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth after each session. Don't submerge in water. Store flat in a cool, dry place. Mugwort heating elements should be replaced every 3–6 months of regular use as they lose potency.
Taboos
Like all TCM moxibustion practices, the Back Moxibustion device has specific taboos (禁忌). Because it warms the entire spine and major Yang meridians at once, please read these carefully.
Do NOT use the Back Moxibustion if you are:
- Pregnant, in any trimester. Direct heat over the lower back and sacrum during pregnancy is strictly contraindicated in TCM.
- In an acute herniated disc flare, acute sciatica with shooting pain, or any acute spine inflammation. Get a diagnosis from your doctor first — heat may worsen acute inflammatory back pain.
- Recovering from spine, abdominal, or pelvic surgery within the last 6–8 weeks. Wait for your surgeon's clearance.
- Running a fever or recovering from acute infection (cold, flu, COVID).
- Diagnosed with a "heaty" TCM constitution (yin deficiency). Dry mouth, night sweats, red tongue, hot palms and soles, irritability, insomnia.
- Suffering from open wounds, skin conditions, or active dermatitis on the back.
- Diabetic with reduced back skin sensation. Risk of unnoticed burns.
- Fitted with a pacemaker, spinal cord stimulator, or any back/abdominal electronic implant.
- Diagnosed with spinal tumours or undiagnosed severe back pain. Get a diagnosis first.
- A child under 12, unsupervised.
Use with caution if you are:
- Menstruating with heavy flow — avoid the lumbar/sacrum portion of the device.
- On blood-thinning medication. Start with shorter sessions.
- Elderly with thin skin or reduced sensation. Start on lowest heat; have a family member check temperature periodically.
- Recovering from chronic non-acute back pain. Build up duration gradually.
- Just exercised or showered. Wait 30 minutes — pores are open.
General TCM moxibustion taboos:
- Do not use under an AC vent. Cold draft on warmed back causes Wind invasion (受风).
- Do not drink ice-cold water or eat cold food after a session.
- Do not bathe in cold water within 1 hour.
- Do not exceed 30-minute sessions.
- Stop immediately if dizzy, nauseous, or unusually fatigued.
