Tummy massage, as a form of health maintenance in TCM, has a long standing history of a few thousand years. Many of the organs such as Spleen, Stomach, Pancreas, Liver, Intestines are located in our abdomen area.
Hippocrates once said, "All diseases begin in the gut." Other than improving gut health, tummy massages can also improve Qi flow within our abdomen, which will benefit our digestion, energy, immunity and general wellbeing.
This automatic hot stone massager uses natural Bian stones which emit ultrasound pulsations, far infrared rays, and negative ions, all of which are known for their antioxidant and anti-aging effects on our cells. It contains more than 40 minerals known to benefit overall health as well.
The massager's strap can be adjusted according to your waist circumference. You can choose the level of heat you want (low, medium or high) and the speed (slow or fast) you want, as well as the direction of massage (clockwise: to promote regular bowel movements or anti-clockwise: to stop loose stools and diarrhoea due to weak spleen).
Use it:
• When you wake up
• Before Sleep

FAQs
Q1: What are Bian stones and why are they used in this massager?
Bian stones are a rare type of natural stone formed from a meteorite impact in China's Shandong province around 65 million years ago. They are recognised in Traditional Chinese Medicine for emitting ultrasound pulsations, far infrared rays, and negative ions when warmed. Bian stones also contain over 40 minerals beneficial to the human body. When applied to the abdomen, these properties help warm the meridians, improve blood circulation, and support overall wellbeing.
Q2: How does the Heated Bian Stone Automatic Abdominal Massager work?
The device combines three TCM-inspired therapies in one: gentle heat (warming the meridians and dispelling cold), Bian stone massage (loosening tight abdominal tissue and improving Qi flow), and rolling/kneading motion (mimicking a TCM tummy massage). The strap secures the massager around your waist so it works hands-free, allowing you to relax while it operates.
Q3: How often and how long should I use it?
We recommend using it once or twice a day, for about 15–20 minutes per session. The best times are after waking up (to gently activate digestion) and before bed (to relax and aid overnight gut repair). It is safe for daily use; just avoid using it immediately after a heavy meal — wait at least 30–60 minutes.
Q4: What is the difference between clockwise and anti-clockwise modes?
The direction of massage matters in TCM. Clockwise (following the natural direction of the large intestine) helps promote regular bowel movements and relieve constipation. Anti-clockwise is used to slow down bowel motility — helpful for those with loose stools or diarrhoea caused by a weak spleen. Choose the direction based on what your body needs that day.
Q5: What do the heat and speed settings do?
There are three heat levels (low, medium, high) and two speeds (slow, fast). Lower heat with slow speed is calming and ideal before sleep, or for those with sensitive skin. Higher heat with faster speed delivers a more invigorating massage — useful for menstrual discomfort, bloating, or feeling cold in the abdomen. Always start with the lowest setting on your first few sessions.
Q6: Who should NOT use this massager?
Please avoid using it if you are:
- Pregnant, or trying to conceive
- Menstruating with heavy flow (light flow is fine on low heat)
- Recovering from recent abdominal surgery
- Diagnosed with abdominal tumours, hernia, or active inflammation
- Fitted with a pacemaker or other electronic medical implant
- Running a fever or with broken/inflamed skin on the abdomen
If you have any chronic condition, please consult your TCM practitioner or doctor before use.
Q7: Can I use it on areas other than my tummy?
Yes — the strap can be adjusted to fit comfortably around the lower back, waist, or upper thighs. Many users find it helpful for lower back ache, menstrual cramps (when applied on the lower abdomen), and warming a cold lower body. Avoid placing it directly on the chest, neck, or joints.
Q8: How do I clean and maintain the device?
Wipe the Bian stone surface with a soft dry cloth after each use. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth — do not submerge the device in water. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. The strap can be hand-washed with mild soap if it gets soiled; air dry completely before reattaching.
Q9: Is it safe to use while watching TV, reading, or working?
Yes — that's one of the beauties of this product. Because it is strapped on, it works hands-free for the full session. Many of our customers wear it while reading, scrolling, watching shows, or even doing light desk work. Just avoid sleeping with it on, and switch it off if you feel any discomfort.
